2019 Annual Report

Thanks to the support of corporations, foundations and individual gifts, Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road provided financial assistance that enabled Girl Scouts and troops to enjoy the full Girl Scout experience. These Girl Scouts received support to pay membership dues, obtain Girl Scout supplies and uniforms, go camping and cover expenses for travel and program grants to fund their projects.

Friends of Camps

Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road is incredibly grateful to Friends of Camp Judy Layne and Friends of Camp Shawano for transforming two historically significant units at our camp properties. Camp Judy Layne’s Whippoorwill Unit welcomed three new cabins to replace storm-damaged platform tents, and Camp Shawano’s Red Bud Unit now boasts a new shelter and three new cabins.

Thank you to our Friends of Camps who continue to promote outdoor adventures and life-changing opportunities for our girls!

Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road gratefully acknowledges all donors who have invested in girls with their generous donations in our 2019 fiscal year. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of our donor list. If you notice an error, please contact the Fund Development Department at 859.293.2621.
